* Please Note:  Because people suffering from Crohn's Disease tolerate a variety of foods differently,  recipes often need specific alterations for each individual.  Most people avoid foods like strawberries because the seeds are hard to digest, so if a recipe calls for it , swap them out for other fruits like papayas or blueberries. Avoiding gluten and sugar pretty much at all times, is also common,  so use rice flour, honey or agave instead.  Sometimes, you may feel that you can tolerate dairy, other times you can't - so ditch the dairy or use a dairy substitute.  Get creative! Leave out the foods that don't work for you and use the foods that make you feel good. Happy Cooking!!
